We are also dog lovers and all animals in general (we work in nature), but unfortunately not all of our guests like animals in the car due to allergies or phobias; therefore, to respect everyone, it is usually not allowed to bring your own “4-legged friend”. It will eventually be possible to book a PRIVATE tour.

We recommend renting a car to reach our meeting point or contacting an NCC service, rental with driver. We collaborate with various agencies that offer this service and if interested we can provide you with contact details.

The excursions are carried out in all weather conditions and in all seasons, our guides in any case always carry out an evaluation based on their own experience and if there are no safety conditions they can decide to move or cancel the excursion in accordance with our guests. We always remember that Etna as well as being a volcano is also a 3350 m high mountain and therefore the weather can quickly change without any warning, for this reason it is advisable to always have the appropriate clothing for an excursion in the mountains.

he recommended clothing varies according to the season. Layered clothing is recommended (jacket or kway) and comfortable closed shoes, even trainers are fine, sandals and flip-flops are prohibited. The temperature varies according to the season and the altitude that will be reached during the excursion. Altitude 2000 meters above sea level in summer (from May to September) between 15° and 35° C, in winter (from October to April) between 15° and -5° C.

Our cancellation policy for individual tours provides for a full refund for cancellations within 48 hours of the start of the excursion. Kindly contact us immediately via email or telephone: +39 3779804142 / +39 3349497027.

For those who book through our website, payment is made in total security by credit card. Those who book via email or WhatsApp are sent the SumUp link and payment is made by credit card. Yes, Etna Moving carries out excursions all year round but naturally some tours are conditioned by the change of season and take place only in certain periods.

Our excursions are usually suitable for people of all ages, naturally also for families with children, the elderly or those with reduced mobility. However, we also offer more demanding trekking excursions, the participation of which is recommended only for adults in good health and used to walking.

Usually, our meeting point is in the Etna village of Trecastagni, in Piazza Sant’Alfio, an ideal starting point for visiting Etna, where a comfortable and safe FREE PARKING is available. Those who do not have a car can request the shuttle service from their accommodation (extra). We prefer to start our excursions from a single meeting point that is easily accessible by our guests because this eliminates long and useless transfers from one hotel to another (often tens of km away from each other), inevitably subtracting useful time from the excursion as well as delays in appointments in case of traffic. The departure from our meeting point instead allows you to leave at fixed times and use the time only for the stops scheduled in the tour.
