Let's start from Piazza Duomo by visiting the majestic cathedral of Catania dedicated to the Santuzza or Sant’Agata. We continue our visit in the square telling about the legends and the history of the 'Liotru', the elephant fountain, and the underground river that flows into the Amenano fountain called 'Acqua o' Linzolu '.
We continue troughvthe colors, smells and sounds of one of the vital centers of the city: the Pescheria, where we will visit the rest of the door of Charles V; then we return to Piazza Duomo from Porta Uzeda and head towards the Abbey of Sant’Agata, one of the most beautiful churches in Catania.
We walk in Via Vittorio Emanuele and enter one of the most beautiful streets of the city Via Crociferi. Here we will talk about the thousand legends about street and churches and then we head towards Via Etnea passing through the University Square.
We then go up Via Etnea and head towards Via Manzoni where we will admire one of the hidden views of Roman Catania; then we arrive in Piazza Stesicoro and we will talk about the second largest amphitheater in the world.
We conclude our tour by going up via Etnea and we will say goodbye at the entrance of the largest public garden in the city: the Villa Bellini.
